Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Patrons rave about the generous portion sizes, often leaving with leftovers to enjoy later. The prawn toast and dumpling soup consistently top the favorites list, with diners noting their robust flavors and fresh ingredients. Many highlight the attentive and friendly staff, who create a welcoming environment that feels like family. The diverse tea selection further elevates the dining experience, offering the perfect pairing for every meal. Desserts, particularly the cheesecake and mixed fruit cake, receive enthusiastic praise as sweet endings that cap off satisfying meals.

Most Disliked

Some guests mention that certain popular dishes, such as the roast duck and char Siu, can sell out quickly during peak hours, which can be disappointing for those craving specific items. The busy lunch hours lead to longer wait times, especially on weekends, which might deter some from returning. While the portion sizes are generally appreciated, a few diners find certain dishes a bit heavy for their liking. The rush during busy times also means the service can be slightly slower, although staff maintains a positive attitude throughout.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the town. My husband and I had lunch there and absolutely loved the food. I highly recommend it!

The best Chinese style and authentic taste of food in Bolton and possibly in Greater Manchester. Owner and staff are Christian and they go beyond & above to serve customers. They serve the best Hong Kong food in Bolton and it has many old customers. The best is to pay cash as the owner pay a little bit percentage of cash to charitable organisation to support Hong Kongers in the UK.

Came here after reading reviews. We ordered wonton/ dumpling soup, Beef ho fun, salt and pepper tofu and mixed vegetables. The dumplings and wonton are huge in a well flavoured broth. The beef ho fun was nice. Loved the salt and pepper tofu. It was very light and crunchy. The ladies working there are very friendly and nice. A lot of Asians come here so you can tell it’s good food. Very extensive menu for a small eatery I would book at busier times. We came late afternoon. Next time will come earlier as they had already run out of roast duck and char Siu

The sesame prawn toast and deep-fried wonton are the best appetisers I had from all the Hong Kong-style restaurants. The toast is loaded with a thick layer of prawn paste which is chewy. Unlike those you have in Chinese restaurants, the curry rice is cooked with spices which provides a long-lasting flavour. Milk tea is my first pick on the drink menu as condensed milk is used, giving a perfect sweetness that matches the tea. RESERVATION is strongly recommended.

Authentic Hong Kong foods. Most of the staff are hkers and they were super nice. The stir-fried beef and the beef brisket were delicious. However, the noodle, Ho Fun, was a bit rough and thick. The prawn toast was amazing.
